Fuel looks at the places built to keep us moving. Gas pumps, fluorescent canopies and roadside stores become quiet subjects in their own right. Through a documentary eye, I photograph these familiar stops for the details we tend to pass by: weathered surfaces, empty forecourts and the strange stillness of a place made for transit.

On The Clock follows the working day at street level: hands on tools, aprons worn outside and a cigarette between tasks. I’m drawn to the small gestures that sit alongside the work itself. These photographs bring together moments of concentration and pause, paying attention to the people whose everyday routines help a city run.
